In the first panel discussion of The Arena 246, four Olympians gave their opinions and experiences as they moved from the world of active competition to work. 
The panelists of Andrea Blackett OLY, Shane De Freitas OLY, Terrance Haynes OLY athletes and moderator Martyn Forde OLY, all competed at the pinnacle of their sport, shared their experiences and recommendations for athletes looking to transition from an active career as an athlete. 

The 2021 Barbados Athletes’ Commission Forum was themed around entrepreneurship and business – The ARENA 246: Accelerating the Rise of Entrepreneurship of National Athletes. Driven by one of our objectives – to support the development of athletes on and off the field of play, the virtual event organized in partnership with The National Olympic Academy of Barbados, featured a series of live workshops, presentations and discussions.
