Barbados Oein Josiah came from behind to win the 31st Barbados National Triathlon which took place on Sunday October 24th on the Mighty Grynner Highway. 

The 32 years old Oein, who was behind after the swim and the bicycle circuit had a strong run to add 2021 to his growing tally having previously won the event in 2016, 2017 and 2020 over the Olympic distance. 

His winning time was 2 hours, 22 minutes and 25.8 secs. Over six minutes adrift was second place Gregory Austin in 2 hours 28 minutes 36.1 secs. 

The Olympic distance was 2 laps of the 750m swim course for 1500m, 10 laps of the 4km bicycle circuit for a distance of 40km and 4 laps of the 2.5 km run circuit for a distance of 10km.
