Barbados Niel Skinner took to the water two hours after the first athletes for Barbados started the Inaugural Junior Pan American Games in Cali Colombia on Friday 26th November 2021.
Competing in the men’s Triathlon at the Calima Lake, Yacht Club, Skinner finished 25th overall after falling behind in the swim which he was clocked at 10 minutes 3 secs. He was consistent with his pacing and turned in a creditable performance in the ride with a time of 33 minutes 58 seconds and the run with a time of 20 minutes 47 secs to finish with an overall time of 1 hour and 7 seconds.
The winner was Miguel Hidalgo from Brazil in an overall time of 56 minutes 40 seconds.
