Barbados Keilani Talma narrowly missed out on setting another new personal best when she contest the B Final of the Women’s 200m Butterfly on Friday night Hernando Botero O’byrne Pool in Cali Colombia.
On Day 1 of the Inaugural Junior Pan American Games in Cali Colombia on Friday 26th November 2021, Talma set a new personal best and season’s best time of 2:31.43 in her heat during the morning session and returned in the evening session to post a time of 2:31.74 to finish 7th in the B Final. The winner of the B Final was Magdalena Walter from Argentina in 2:19.72, while the winner of the A final was Karen Restrepo from Colombia in 2:13.51.
