Barbados Chelsea Tuach finished 5th at the Jacksonville Super Girl Surf Pro in Florida over the weekend of 12th -14th November 2021. Tuach was defeated in the final few seconds of the quarter-final Heat against Zoe Benedetto of the USA.
Tuach was leading the Heat as the last 60 seconds of the 30-minute, Head to Head Quarter final but Benedetto caught her final wave which she rode and finished just before the buzzer.
When the scores came in it was enough to push Chelsea who look like she was on her way to the Semi-finals into elimination. With no more time left the Bajan surfer ended with a combined total of 11.76 as Zoe finished with 12.17.
The event was won by Alyssa Spencer who defeated defending Super Girl Pro champion Caroline Marks in the close final.
