Chelsea Tuach finished 17th at the MEO Vissla Pro Ericeira Portugal which is World Surfing League women’s Challenger Series stop 2. 

Tuach who was having a good performance did not get the waves she needed in the Round of 32 and did not make it to the Round of 16 as she finished third in her Heat with a combined total of 9.20.

Tuach who was in Heat 7 went down to Macy Callaghan from Australia and Teresa Bonvalot from Portugal. Callaghan won the heat with 13.17 and Bonvalot was second with 10.80.

Tuach’s 17th place finish earns her 2000 points from the event and will be looking for a better showing at the Women’s Challenger Series stop #3 the Roxy Pro in Seignosse, Landes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, France later this month.
