Barbados Amber Joseph finished 19th in the Women’s Scratch race at the 2021 UCI Track World Championships in Roubaix, France held from October 20-24th.

Joseph who has been doing some road races and competitions returned to track cycling but did not enjoy the results she would have like. 

In the qualifying Heat for the Women’s Omnium, Joseph finished 9th and after not earning any points in the sprint and did not advance to compete in the main races of the event. 

On her IG, Joseph said that it was “The first Elite World Track Championships I haven’t had a preparation on the track like previous World Champs and I really felt it.”

After Worlds Joseph said she will be heading to Spain for preparation for the Under-23 Pan American Games at the end of November in Cali Colombia.
